Children's Ministry

We will be sharing the weekly video lesson that is usually taught during KIDS CONNECT on the FaceBook page FAC Kids Connect.

Watch each week's scheduled lesson and discuss with your kids:

  • What did you learn about God?
  • What is does it mean to sin? To sin is to think, speak, or behave in any way that goes against God and His commands.

Listen to worship and podcasts while you make and clean up supper. Make it a whole family event!

Recommendations include:

  • Questions Kids Ask
  • Focus on the Family
  • Focus on the Family Plugged In
  • Family Matters

Outreach

The elderly in nursing home facilities cannot receive visitors. Take a moment and send a card or letter to encourage them and put a smile on their faces during this lonely time. As a family activity, you can draw pictures, coloring pages, or decorate cards with a word of encouragement and prayer. Then mail them to one of the Nursing Homes listed below:

  • Dunklau Gardens (Attn Nikea) - 450 E. 23rd St, Fremont, NE 68025
  • Shalimar Gardens (Attn Riley in Activities) - 749 E. 29th St, Fremont, NE 68025

The Alliance Women are also working to sew masks for the nursing home, as requested by Nikea Brady at Dunklau. The goal is to provide 200 masks, and if there is an abundance, they will be shared with other facilities, police officers, and anyone else who needs them. Use a pattern located at buttoncounter.com. Contact Dunklau directly for drop-off instructions.

The LifeHouse food pantry is continuing to provide much needed groceries to local families. Needed items are listed on their website.

There is a drive-up drop off box located at the Fremont Mall, or donate at directly at the address below.

Food Pantry:  549 North H St.
Fremont, NE 68025

The pantry is open Tuesdays 10am-2pm, and Thursdays 5-7pm.

Pray for the health of our community, students not in school, families in need and our church. We will continue our weekly prayer requests. Requests can be emailed to office@fremontalliance.org.
